Fitzpatrick Clan Reunion

The International Gathering of the Fitzpatrick clan will be held in Miramichi, New Brunswick, July 19, 20 and 21, 2002, during the 19^th annual Canada's Irish Festival. Registration for the weekend will be $15 per adult. Registration and other "Fitzpatrick" activities will be FREE for family members 18 years of age and under. Participation in the Irish Festival activities is an important element in the Fitzpatrick Gathering program and you are encouraged to do so.

Those registering for the reunion will qualify for a reduced rate for a weekend pass for festival events. Contact the Irish Festival office for further details. Reserved seating will be available at the arena on Friday night for the Fitzpatrick's registered for the reunion/gathering. You are eligible, most welcome and encouraged to attend if you are a Fitzpatrick, married to one or have Fitzpatrick lineage. Come and enjoy our heritage, our namesake.

Fitzpatrick is the only surname with the prefix Fitz which is of native Irish origin. The Fitzpatricks are Macgilpatricks - Mac Giolla Phadraig in Irish, meaning son of the servant or devotee of St. Patrick.
