The Nelson Doyle Dancers, formed in 1991 under the instruction of Ellen (Doyle) MacDonald, return this year to perform at the arena and cultural workshops. This lively group of boys and girls age six and up learn traditional Irish dance, language and history. In addition to their dance performances at the arena, the group will present the play, 'The Lost Brogan" as part of the children's workshop at NBCC.

This year will mark the group's eighth appearance at Canada's Irish Festival. Television appearances include Master Control, Breakfast Television and a CBC documentary highlighting Irish Immigration to New Brunswick.
